Björkdalsgruvan, Gruva, Produktion
About the Role
We’re looking for a Project Manager to lead key digitalization and reporting initiatives in our underground mining operations. If you’re a hands-on problem solver with a talent for coordination, communication, and driving progress, this role is for you.
You’ll be responsible for managing the rollout of underground Wi-Fi infrastructure, overseeing telemetry implementation, and improving shift reporting and dashboard visibility. You’ll work closely with mobile maintenance, production, and planning teams, as well as external suppliers, to ensure smooth execution and alignment across all stakeholders.
Technical knowledge is a plus, but your ability to lead projects, connect people, and turn plans into action is what matters most.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of underground Wi-Fi expansion and telemetry implementation projects.
- Collaborate with mobile maintenance, production, and planning teams to strengthen cross-functional alignment and operational efficiency.
- Improve shift-level activity reporting and develop intuitive dashboards for real-time operational insights.
- Implement a Time Usage Model to ensure the right metrics are captured and reported.
- Drive the adoption of Short Interval Control planning tools to support and enable data-driven decision-making.
- Identify evolving business needs and proactively introduce new metrics and reporting tools.
- Ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget, while maintaining safety and operational standards.
- Support change management and user adoption of new systems and tools.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management or similar roles.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and coordinate with both internal teams and external suppliers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
- A structured, hands-on approach with attention to detail and a drive to get things done.
- Valid B driving license.
- Fluency in Swedish is a merit.
- Familiarity with mining operations or technical systems is a merit, but not a requirement.
What We Offer
- A diverse, flexible and collaborative work environment.
- Opportunities to make a real impact on operational success.
- Competitive compensation and benefits.
- A people-first culture that values safety, innovation, and continuous learning.
