Description

We are looking for production geologists, exploration geologists and core-loggers for a summer position!

The main tasks as a production geologist are mapping, sampling and setting out faces underground. Shift work 7 by 7.

As an Exploration Geologist, work with core mapping and sampling is included in the duties, some work out in the field may also occur. Daytime, mon-fri.

The core logger maps diamond core from the underground drilling. Daytime, mon-fri.

Qualifications

You should have completed at least three years of geology studies at university and good knowledge of both Swedish and English. We use software such as Surpac and a lot of wxcel in our daily work. Experience of working with those softwares are seen as meritorious.

Swedish B driving license is a requirement as the mine is located outside of Skellefteå with poor public transportation.
